The inaugural International Business and Finance Olympiad (IBFO) took place in Bucharest, Romania, from 2 to 6 August 2026. Seven delegations came together to apply classroom knowledge to a real business case and develop their financial, analytical and strategic skills.

The 2026 competition centred on a case study based on Rompetrol. Through financial analysis, written reports and presentations to the Jury, participants connected academic learning with real decisions and challenges faced by businesses.
